We make software for developers to help them build modern EDI systems. Our goal is to make software so great that all the world’s business transactions run on our rails – and users won’t know or care, because it works exactly as expected.

As a marketing copywriter, you will join the Growth team. All of us are focused on finding, educating, and helping customers.
We need you to tell the world about Stedi. This includes writing for our marketing site, our blog, and our newsletter. You’ll have the help of software engineers, visual designers, and technical writers, while you are in charge of the message.
Let developers know what Stedi can do for them. Whether that’s information about Stedi’s newest features, product positioning, or blogs -- you’ll be responsible for pioneering content that helps drive more users to our platform.
Help build our Stedi narrative and cement it everywhere. You’ll help develop narrative and messaging on our marketing website, emails, and social media.
Understand our prospective customers. You’ll work cross-functionally with our developers, designers, and growth team to write impactful content, and develop your own understanding of what moves the needle for our readers.
You never write alone. We have learned that we do our best work if we work together. The writer writes a draft, the editor gives feedback on it. Same for the next draft; repeat until done. How you write is up to you, because everyone is different, but one part of the writing process is the same for all of us: you never write alone.
You know how to write for a technical audience. You’re able to distill complex information into digestible, persuasive, actionable copy that helps developers understand how they’ll get the most out of Stedi.
You are deeply curious and always ask questions. You strive to understand products and have proven your ability to craft messaging that helps capture the hearts and minds of your user base. Bonus if you have experience with SEO strategies.
You want to create and execute your own work. You are eager to come work at a startup and help build the foundation of our writing discipline. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable with not knowing the answer to something.
You help others become better writers. Wherever you are, you enjoy working with people from all different functions to write the best content possible.
