At Stedi, we’re rebuilding the technological backbone of the B2B economy. Trillions of dollars flow annually through a global network of commerce via an archaic protocol called EDI, but there hasn’t been a major new EDI platform in decades (you can read more about EDI here).

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a technically inclined individual to build, scale, and own Stedi’s growth engine. All of our growth to date has been driven by a robust inbound pipeline. We are now establishing an outbound sales motion.

As a Growth Marketing Lead, you will own the strategy, design, and implementation of Stedi’s growth engine. You will select and use a cutting-edge stack to identify high-priority accounts and leads for the sales team to close. We believe a single high-performing growth marketer with access to the right tools can accomplish what a team of 10 SDRs can do on their own.

What you'll do

  • Develop strategies for customer acquisition based on our ideal customer profile by partnering with sales, operations, and engineering to drive a step-function change in outcomes.
  • Select and implement the tooling necessary to identify and enrich target accounts, contacts, and leads.
  • Generate ideas, define targeting, and write copy to run automated outreach experiments that generate meetings and deals for the sales team. Scale the winners, and discard the losers.
  • Analyze data and anecdotes to understand what’s working and what’s not, using inputs ranging from customer interactions and AE feedback to SQL queries.

Who you are

  • You are a growth expert. You have experience in growth, marketing, sales operations, bizops, or related roles.
  • B2B SaaS is your sweet spot. You know the best tools, systems, and strategies to build a scalable growth engine for a B2B SaaS company.
  • You are technically self-sufficient. You aren’t necessarily a software engineer, but you also don’t need much (if any) assistance to set up the necessary tooling, integrations, or automation required to get the system running.
  • You know B2B sales and marketing. You have experience working “upstream” from a growing and demanding software sales team. You anticipate their needs before they do. You also understand how to position and market a technical software product.
  • You are metrics-oriented. You have an analytical mindset and understand the benefits of compounding improvements. Your intuition and curiosity set the strategy, and you leverage numbers to drive continuous improvement.
  • You understand markets and business use cases. You understand how to hone an ideal customer profile to segment, enrich, and automate outreach to thousands of prospective accounts.
  • You do what it takes to get the job done. You are resourceful, self-motivating, self-disciplined, and don’t wait to be told what to do. You put in the hours.
  • You move fast. We move fast as an organization. This requires an ability to match our pace and not get lost when managing competing priorities. You communicate what you are working on, and proactively ask for help or feedback when you need it.

Compensation

  • Annual salary dependent on experience: ~$140k-$200k
