ZC Correction or Change Reference Information
To identify that a previous transaction was sent and that it is now necessary to correct or change data on that shipment.
Code uniquely identifying a Transaction Set.
Identification number assigned to the shipment by the shipper that uniquely identifies the shipment from origin to ultimate destination and is not subject to modification. (Does not contain blanks or special characters.)
ZC02 will contain the bill of lading or shipment number passed on the original transmission.
Prefix or alphabetic part of an equipment unit's identifying number.
ZC03 is the initial of the equipment covered by this bill and is required on every rail transaction. Vans/Containers without any initial will be: NONZ or NONU.
Sequencing or serial part of an equipment unit's identifying number (pure numeric form for equipment number is preferred).
ZC04 is the number of the equipment which is covered by this bill and is required on every rail transaction.
Sender's assigned number for referenced transaction set.
Date of referenced transaction set.
Code used to indicate that the transaction set contains information which corrects a previous billing.
ZC07 will contain the reason for requesting this correction or change.

ZC08 is the SCAC of the original carrier receiving the shipment.
