E13 Segment Order in Transaction Set
To provide the list of segments in a transaction set for the electronic form of the X12 standards
Code indicating the type maintenance operation.
Relative position of the segment in the transaction set.
When E1302 used in the Electronic Form Transaction Set (868) to send a complete transaction set, it is 10 for the first segment and incremented by 10 for each suceeding segment to the end of the transaction set. When used in the Electronic Form Transaction Set to delete or replace an existing segment, it is the matching sequence number of the segment existing in the transaction set. When used in the Electronic Form Transaction Set to add a segment, it is a number which will insert the new segment in its position within the transaction set.
Designates the section of a transaction set standard.
Code defining the segment ID of the data segment in error. See Appendix A - Number 77.
Requirement designator as specified in the standard or standards convention.
Number of times a data segment may appear. The use of 9999999 in the electronic form is to be interpreted to mean >1.
The name of the loop.
Loop repeat count as specified in the standard. The use of 9999999 in the electronic form is to be interpreted to mean >>1.
A number used by the electronic form of the X12 standards to specify the loop level of a segment within a transaction set. It is 1 for the first loop level and is incremented by 1 for each succeeding loop within a loop level.
E1309 contains a number (1-9) indicating the loop level structure within the transaction set. The number 1 indicates the outermost loop, 2 indicates the next loop within the loop, 3 indicates the next loop with 2, etc.
A number providing a reference to a segment or file which contains notes or comments related to X12 standards documentation.
E1310 is the ``Note ID Number'' of the E40 segment which contains this segment's nonstandard comments. These comments are as they appear in the transaction set listings of the standards documentation.
