BGP Beginning Segment for Problem Log Inquiry or Advice
To provide identifying numbers associated with the creation and maintenance of Interline Service Management problem logs
Code identifying purpose of transaction set
Code indicating the reason a problem log was created
Code qualifying the Reference Identification
P0304: If either BGP-03 or BGP-04 is present, then the other is required
Reference information as defined for a particular Transaction Set or as specified by the Reference Identification Qualifier
Prefix or alphabetic part of an equipment unit's identifying number
P0506: If either BGP-05 or BGP-06 is present, then the other is required
Sequencing or serial part of an equipment unit's identifying number (pure numeric form for equipment number is preferred)
Expression of a date, a time, or range of dates, times or dates and times
BGP07 is the date associated with a trip cycle in (CCYYMMDD) format. This data will be used to identify a trip cycle. If a problem log exists for the equipment during the trip cycle, problem log information will be returned.

BGP08 is the Standard Point Location Code of the problem.
Train identification (free-form)
BGP09 is the Train ID associated with the problem.
