SSREGW Notification of registration of a worker

TBG11 Social Security, Employment and Education

The SSREGW message is exchanged between designated bodies to enable interchange and registration of a worker's social security number. The message is also exchanged by designated bodies to request and compile details of worker's social security insurance record.

  1. A service segment starting and uniquely identifying a message. The message type code for the Notification of registration of a worker message is SSREGW. Note: Notification of registration of a worker messages conforming to this document must contain the following data in segment UNH, composite S009: Data element 0065 SSREGW 0052 D 0054 21A 0051 UN

    1. Data element S009/0057 is retained for upward compatibility. The use of
    S016 and/or S017 is encouraged in preference.
    2. The combination of the values carried in data elements 0062 and S009 shall
    be used to identify uniquely the message within its group (if used) or if
    not used, within its interchange, for the purpose of acknowledgement.
  2. A segment to identify the type and the function of the message (registration, confirmation of registration, request of details on a worker's Social Security insurance record, answer to this request, ...) and, if necessary, the number of the message.

  3. A segment indicating the date of preparation of the message.

  4. A segment indicating the type of process the message belongs to.

    1. A segment identifying the reference of a previously sent or received message related to the current message.

    2. A segment indicating the date of a previous message whose reference is given in the above RFF segment.

    1. A segment giving a person's surnames and forenames and his function in the message (worker, worker's mother, father, spouse).

    2. A segment indicating the Insurance or identification numbers of the worker in the country identified in the related PNA segment.

    3. A segment indicating the nationality of the person identified in the related PNA segment.

    4. A segment specifying the type and the number of an identity document (identity card or passport) belonging to the person identified in the related PNA segment.

    5. A segment indicating current and if relevant, the previous address of the person.

    6. A segment specifying person's natural, professional or academic titles.

      1. A segment indicating date of birth or date of death of the person.

      2. A segment indicating place of birth or place of death. This segment can be used to identify the country, province or department and city of birth or death.

      1. A segment specifying the gender or the marital status (married, divorced, ...) of the person identified in the related PNA segment.

      2. A segment indicating relevant dates related to the civil status (date of marriage or date of divorce, ...).

  7. A segment giving additional information on the worker.

  8. Segment group 5
    Repeat 1
    1. A segment specifying the details of any authentication (validation) procedure applied to the SSREGW message.

    2. A segment identifying the date and where necessary, the time of authentication.

  9. A service segment ending a message, giving the total number of segments in the message (including the UNH & UNT) and the control reference number of the message.

    1. 0062, the value shall be identical to the value in 0062 in the
    corresponding UNH segment.
