This standard provides the format and establishes the data contents of the Price Change Transaction Set within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set is used to enable a manufacturer, supplier, broker, or agent to notify a trading partner of any changes to product cost or price information. This transaction set is not used to establish the initial cost/price of product.
