Use versioning in Mappings

Currently, the process to version control in Mappings would be to duplicate the existing mapping and rename it with a version number. In this example, we will update the version of the Stripe's Invoice mapping.

First, we duplicate the existing mapping by selecting the icon on the right:

Click on the "Duplicate mapping" button

After clicking on the "Duplicate mapping," a new box will pop up, and you’ll be able to name the mapping with an appropriate version number:

Provide new mapping name

Click “Duplicate,” and the new mapping will be created with a new ID:

New ID

At this point, you can use the new mapping ID in your API call. This will also allow you to quickly roll back to the previous version quickly since the original mapping is preserved.
