SFTP pricing overview

Stedi SFTP is billed based on usage. There are no minimum fees, monthly commitments, or upfront costs to use this product.

There is no cost associated with provisioning SFTP users. Usage of SFTP is billed based on the number of files transferred and the total number of bytes transferred. Since SFTP is backed by Stedi Buckets for file storage and retrieval, SFTP operations will incur additional charges for the corresponding use of Stedi Buckets based on the number of file upload and download requests, and the number of bytes transferred.

Shipment status (214) feed

A shipping partner uses SFTP to upload batched X12 EDI 214s for a retailer to process. Each EDI 214 document contains 300 transactions, resulting in an average file size of 150 KB. The shipping partner uploads a batch every 30 minutes, every day of the week, resulting in 1,488 EDI 214s every month.

A high-volume trading partner uses SFTP to send X12 EDI 997s in response to transactions sent to them. A customer sends 100,000 EDI 997s per month, with an average file size of 400 bytes.

Hourly inventory (846) feed

A supplier uses SFTP to upload X12 EDI 846 Inventory Inquiry/Advice in order to exchange inventory data with trading partners. A customer receives a 10,240 KB (10MB) EDI 846 once every hour, totaling 720 files over the course of a month.
