This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the U.S. Customs Export Shipment Information Transaction Set (601) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set can be used by exporters or their agents, carriers, and service providers to transmit export shipment information to the U.S. Customs Service (USCS).
