Introducing the official Stedi app for ChatGPT

Stedi’s ChatGPT app is now available in OpenAI’s ChatGPT app store. It’s the first approved app that allows healthcare providers to run patient insurance eligibility checks from within their business’s ChatGPT account.

The app only takes a few clicks to set up and requires no configuration or custom integration. To access it, you’ll need the ChatGPT Business or Enterprise plan; the app isn't available on ChatGPT plans for individuals (Free/Go/Plus/Pro).
Connect the Stedi app to ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT.
Click Apps in the sidebar.
Search for and select Stedi. If you don’t see a result, you’ll need to upgrade to a Business or Enterprise plan.
Click Connect.
Sign in to your Stedi account.
Review and authorize the permissions the Stedi app is requesting.
What you can do
Once connected, you can type /stedi in any ChatGPT conversation to invoke the app. For example, you can ask ChatGPT to run an eligibility check:

Security and compliance
The Stedi app for ChatGPT authenticates with Stedi production accounts using OAuth. No API key is required. Once connected, the app uses the same security model as our MCP server and existing APIs, including TLS encryption.
Follow your organization's data handling policies to stay compliant with HIPAA and other requirements. In most cases, that includes having a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) in place with OpenAI before you connect.
