This X12 Transaction Set contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Customer Call Reporting Transaction Set (886) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set can be used to enable a broker or manufacturer to communicate retail store level information such as condition of products, shelf space allocation, store conditions, marketing programs in effect, information on competitor products, selective pricing information, display information, etc.
