What does Magicare do?

Magicare is the all-in-one, AI-native operating system for skilled nursing facilities. It helps operators grow profitably and stay compliant. Admissions, insurance and reimbursement, authorizations, claims, compliance, and resident management all run on one platform, so every building fills the right beds, gets paid for the care it gives, and stays survey-ready.

How did you end up working in health tech?

My background is in B2B AI and SaaS. I've served as COO at leading tech companies and worked with top US founders and VCs on fundraises totaling more than $4B.

My friend Itzhak, Magicare's CPO, introduced me to Dan and Adam 2 years ago. I saw it right away: a big market with significant room for improvement, product-market fit that was clear as day, and two founders with everything it takes to build a great company.

How does your role intersect with revenue cycle management (RCM)?

As COO, my goal is to ensure alignment in how Magicare gets deployed and delivers ROI for our operators, and RCM is where that impact shows up most clearly. Our platform checks insurance, prices every referral against payer contracts, manages authorizations, and prepares claims. We work with operators across their buildings, so they can see where revenue leaks, from a missed authorization to a contract paid at the wrong rate. My job is to make sure Magicare closes those gaps and that our customers can see it in their bottom line.

What do you think RCM will look like two years from now?

Most routine work will be done by AI agents: eligibility checks, authorizations, claim prep, and denial follow-up. People will handle the exceptions. The biggest change will be moving RCM upstream, so problems get prevented at admission instead of fought after the claim is denied.
