What does Vanaa RCM do?

We are a technology company at our core and constantly deploy improved technology and processes and ensure that our people are learning how to handle exceptions being spewed out in RCM processes.

How did you end up working in health tech?

My core strength is to be able to envision solutions for all sorts of processes and ensure data integrity is maintained at input and output points. Having researched the healthcare industry for many years, I could see – clear as day – that this industry has so many ways to solve so many problems, and it needs quick solutions. We fail fast and stand yet again with a better solution.

How does your role intersect with revenue cycle management (RCM)?

Over the last few decades, RCM has been turned into a complicated set of processes for all stakeholders due to various factors. I will not go into that right now.

RCM and provider data management (i.e., credentialing and enrollments) are the underlying processes that we are working on at the moment. Once we nail all the problems associated with these, including analytics, we will move to other processes on the payer end.

What do you think RCM will look like two years from now?
