Introducing Stedi’s free Basic plan

You can now get free production access to Stedi with the Basic plan.

The Basic plan is our new starter plan for customers who just need to manually process production transactions, such as claims and eligibility checks, in the Stedi portal. It’s great for providers and small practices who are processing a small number of transactions each month.

The Basic plan also allows customers to test API integrations using test API keys. Once they’re finished testing, these customers can upgrade to a Developer plan to send production transactions using real API keys.

What the Basic plan includes

• Production access to the Stedi portal, where you can get 100 free eligibility checks, claims, ERAs, and claims status checks each month

• Test access to our API and SFTP

• Access to Stedi apps

• Unlimited users, providers, and transaction enrollments

What the Basic plan means for you

For anyone trying out Stedi
Accounts with the Basic plan can run production transactions in the Stedi portal. You can see actual payer responses and try out our transaction enrollment features. 

The plan also lets you run mock eligibility checks through the Stedi portal or using test API keys.

For Stedi app developers
If you’ve built a Stedi app, your customers – typically providers and practices – can sign up for the Basic plan and connect directly to your app.

Apps are an add-on. You can choose whether to make your app available for free on the Basic plan or whether to make it a paid upgrade for providers.

Current Stedi account holders

• If you’re already a Stedi customer, nothing changes.
  
  

• If you have a sandbox account, contact us to upgrade your account to the Basic plan. The Basic plan includes everything from a sandbox account – plus the ability to send production transactions using the portal – for free.

3. On the Create account page, select Basic as your plan.
